SANTA CATALINA HEALTH CENTER IS OPEN!!

Santa Catalina Health Center located in the Catalina Community Resource Center at 3414 East Golder Ranch Road opened its doors July 8, 2002. The center has one physician, one nurse practitioner, and two support personnel. Services at Santa Catalina Health Center will include family practice, limited lab tests including phlebotomy, well-women exams, and referrals to necessary specialists. Walk-ins welcome, same day appointments also available. Providers are Dr. Susan Spencer, D.O. and Deborah Hanks, RN, MSN, FNP. Support staff includes Maggie Samaniego, MA and Danielle VanVorst, Receptionist. The clinic will accept all ACCCHS plans and most HMO and PPO plans, sliding fee scale to accommodate non-insured patients. Dr. Spencer graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1975 where she received her D.O., and has been a part of Marana Health Center since 1993. Deborah Hanks has been in Arizona health care since 1983, when she graduated from Pima Community College as a Registered Nurse. She completed her training in California to be a Family Nurse Practitioner.  

Accompanying Dr. Spencer and Debbie Hanks will be Maggie Samaniego, MA. She has been a Medical Assistant for 10 years, and recently processed referrals as well as assisted providers at Marana Health Center. Danielle VanVorst has worked as a receptionist for the last 6 years. Also, Dr. Darin Bocian, Podiatrist, DPM, will be at the Center on the first Tuesday of every month from 8AM to 12PM beginning Tuesday, August 6. The staff of the Health Center is excited to be part of the Catalina area community, and looks forward to assisting you and your family's needs.
