CATALINA COMMUNITY SERVICES (CCS)
 
 
 
CCS is located at 3414 E. Golder Ranch Rd. It is a multipurpose facility that provides services for individuals, families, youth, and seniors. For more information, call 825-0009. The following programs or agencies are located at the CCS or nearby in Catalina:
 
CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP:
The Caregiver Education and Support Program provides a comfortable setting to share information, learn about stress management, community resources, and related concerns for those caring for homebound loved ones. Groups meet on Wednesdays, one at 1:00 p.m. and one at 3:00 p.m., at the CCS.

CLOTHING BANK:  
Clothing is available to Catalina residents and surrounding communities and is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
 
ESL CLASS:
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are offered at three different times/locations on Wednesdays. 9:00 a.m. at the Baptist Church in Catalina (child care provided); 1:00 p.m. at CCS; and 7 p.m. at the Summer Institute of Linguistics in Catalina.

FOOD BANK:
Service is available to Catalina residents and surrounding
communities and is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

PIMA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT:
Provides free immunizations to youngsters 18 and under on the 4th Tuesday of the month. General health screenings, including family planning, are offered on the 1st Tuesday of the month.

PIMA YOUTH PARTNERSHIP:
Promotes positive growth of children and youth through a wide variety of programs.  (Ask about our summer and after-school programs.)

PROJECT PPEP:
Project PPEP provides counseling for behavioral health issues, alcohol and substance abuse, anger management, and domestic violence issues. A mixed-themes group is held on Thursdays from 5:00p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Other sessions are available by appointment.
In addition to these services, PPEP's main office in South Tucson also provides alcohol and substance abuse screenings, DUI evaluations, alcohol education, parenting classes, AHCCCS enrollment, and individual and  group counseling in Spanish. Individuals must enroll through PPEP's main office to receive services.

SENIOR PROGRAM CENTER:
The Senior Center, located next to the Golden Goose Thrift Shop at 16701 N. Oracle Rd. in Catalina, is open Tuesdays and Thursdays. An independent social service program, the center offers volunteer-provided senior meals twice a week (meals can also be delivered to homebound seniors) and transportation service 5 days a week.
