- Old/New
Business for future action – Mark Miller declared a proclamation

Greater Catalina/Golder Village Council.
Council voted unanimously in support.
- Audience
suggestion – adding taxation for trash pick-up. Trash removal has been an issue in the past and has been
discussed in the past.
Hector raised the issue of transportation as relates to
increasing population and how the State or Oro Valley have no plan to widen the
road to accommodate the increased traffic.
Sunie reminded us that State of AZ Dept of Transportation DOES have plans to widen Oracle
road from Tangerine thru Catalina to Oracle Junction, and eventually will widen
79 to be an alternate route for I-10 between Phoenix area and Tucson.
This will only create more traffic for Catalina with NO relief. We MUST
get a voice.
- State
will have to carry the burden for Oro Valley’s development in Arroyo
Grande as regards road.
- Adjournment
